Can you still perform a technique with restrictive movements?

It was on a lazy Wednesday afternoon. I was at work when I received a whatsapp message by Sensei. It tells us to wear something restrictive for the training later. Puzzled as I was, I complied. Wearing my work-clothes (Jeans and T-shirt) and went to class.

We were to perform the iriminage and well...I was not really that good with the technique in the first place. So it was kind of terrible when our movements are restricted.

And so...for the next three months, we were told to wear something restrictive (formal wear, a tie for the guys is a plus)
