Keeping your martial art skills while having work
Hi, all I apologise for not updating this monthly Blog monthly was pretty hectic. With my new nightshift job, it was difficult for me at first to juggle the usual activities I do during the day from my previous employment experiences. Now things are settled I am now back to giving this student blog some much-needed attention.
But even with this new schedule/job I never really stop my training. Yes, I can't really join the full schedule of classes that I want to go to but Sensei already thought us how to be independent with our training. So with the nature of my job being an on-demand call centre what I usually do during my short break times are that I practice my basic techniques from Aikido aka Kihon Dosa.
The more I started doing it I noticed my boy becoming much more firm and stable when I o my Kihon Dosa on the days that I train at the dojo. I never really felt from my own point of view that I was ever-improving in my Aikido compared to my peers. But from what sensei always mentions in class "Rome was never built in a day".
With the enjoyment and growth that I have learned from this dojo over the past 6 years, I can't imagine where everyone would be in the next 6 years from now. Till the next update thank you for reading this!
